Updates Published this week:
US - ABI 2517 update. 2025 Revision 11 of the US Tariff. 2 new codes in Chapter 99 ( 232 Auto tariffs ) New penalty rate file.
PE - Addition of Pacific Alliance and Singapore FTA - enter in force on 2025-05-03. No HS Changes.
AR - Reduction of the tariff for new rubber tires of the types used in passenger cars. No HS Changes.
CL - Addition of Pacific Alliance and Singapore FTA. No HS Changes.
CN - Split the US Additional duty into 2 parts again – after much feedback that this is clearer than combining. The effective rate did NOT change, but instead of say 145%, we now see 20% + 125% to more clearly define the source of the additional duty. ( Evidently, it is possible to get special exemptions, and they are based on the 2 different additional duties ) Also one SC code change. No HS code changes or “real” duty changes.
IS - Corrections to a few HS Code English descriptions.
