The EU has published a correlation table of the expected HS code changes for 2023. The correlation contains all the changes that happened in 2022. We have pre-filtered the data to show only the changes around 12/31/2022 and 1/1/2023 to assist in viewing the pending changes. (be aware that rows with start or end dates other than the year-end are already in our products/your systems )
We expect the EU to update this again in December ( note the “V1” in the name – sometimes there is a V2 and even a V3 ). We will continue to monitor and share information as we get it.
Note that even though this information is available, we can not start building files for distribution. There are too many unknowns and last minute changes to make this viable as much as everyone wants the information now. We have been burned by last minute changes from sources too many times – and it creates issues not just for Descartes but all clients that have to deal with reversals and corrections.
