Upcoming US tariff updates:
A new Executive proclamation today is changing the 232 duties for steel, aluminum and copper. This is effective April 6th. We’re working on our update. At a very high level, the changes will restructure and simplify the Section 232 tariffs by replacing metal‑content calculations with a full‑value, tiered tariff system.
There is another proclamation regarding new 232 tariffs on pharmaceuticals; it isn’t effective till July. We will work on that too, but with more caution and patience.
